Pro LOTF damper: cheap, effective, and easy to install

I was headed for a short shifter with my new 2006 S when I installed one of these damper. It negated the need for a short shifter to the point that I'm not going to install one. Makes the shifting that much more positive. The vibration? Was barely noticeable.

Last weekend I installed my LOTF damper that I bought from Shoe and I am pleased to report that it works nicely, just as most everyone has posted.

I originally held off on buying one as I was going to change all the engine mounts to poly, but finally figured WTF, this is an easy install so try it... I'm glad I did. I notice almost no extra vibration (mine is an '04 S, that just rec'd a new dealer installed engine mount a few months ago as it broke) and much crisper response & more precise shifting. They should have come like this from the factory. Basically makes the engine/trans actually feel like it's bolted into the car, instead of being held in by rubber bands like when stock.

Nice and tight and I didn't feel a huge difference.
Same here. Some more positive feel in shifting, but I shift pretty smoothly anyway. Nice chirp on 1-2 upshift though, feels firmer there.

Another +1 Just installed a TSW damper , had a little issue with interfernce ,if someone did not modify the fuel tank breather bracket and it starts to hit the supercharger horn while tightening the engine bolts they might induce vibration. I have no more than usual vibration. Now the car feels like a normal little hot rod and I don't have to feather the crap out of the clutch to be smooth.
