Drivetrain The New RSpeed Cooper Exhaust comes through with a win
We wanted to see how our exhaust would perform in an actual Mini track event and we couldn't be more happy - See HERE for more details on Ed Raymundo and Chris Boling's victory in the 2003 Petersburg ProSolo event while using the RSpeed Cooper Exhaust.
While not everyone is out driving on the track, we feel as this is a great way of showing the versatility of our exhaust system - when put to the extreme.
Congrats again to the guys!

Congrats!!
One question. Who's idea was it to shoot the video of the exhaust while standing at the turn? Isn't it the idea to hear the sound of the system? Kind of hard to do when the car is coasting down for the turn. Sounded kind of sweet coming in, but it was a bit far off to get a good listen. Would you happen to have any other clips? Maybe a drive by at speed?

Flash - That clip REALLY doesn't do this exhaust justice. Let's just say the RSpeed guys did a much better job with their exhaust than they did with the video clip.....how's that for a backhanded compliment Peter?
I think the reason for the shot of the MC slowing down was to include some audio of the cool burbling sound (can't think of a better word for it right now) it can make under decelleration. It's hard to hear it though so it kind of defeats the purpose, plus the sound as it approaches the curve is a lot more engine/intake than exhaust note.
I have the RSpeed exhaust and to me these clips sound like the break-in period where it's still a bit muted. Probably not the case, but the somewhat muted audio quality gives me that sort of impression.

I downloaded the smaller of the two clips and thought it was fine. Maybe not perfect for how the exhaust really is but close enough to get a feel for the sound and what to expect.
To me it sounded great for a cooper exhaust. I have an MCS and I think the R speed is very nice as is.
Nice Job- and much less expensive than the MCS exhausts.

Well...
we do have these really expensive Mac's at the shop and y3es, we could make a better video. I think what we really need to do is get some kind of digital recorder - plus it is hard to judge an exhaust note online - I just heard one posted on this forum for the S and almost spiller my coffee as it was VERY loud - but I think the levels were a bit high.
Nevertheless - thanks for the plugs
