ticking

For a supercharged car such as the Mini S, is it normal for when you rev and as the rev goes down you hear a continue ticking and clicking noise but only after the engine is warmed up, my guess was the belt isn't tight or the pulley is loose plus the car only has 39,000 miles.

If it is a really light ticking sound that you can only hear at idle it is probably the fuel injectors firing. From what I hear the R56's are even louder.
