Our gearbox is out and our clutch is 60 miles away hopefully being rebuilt, I get the feeling there's some all nighters coming, also just to put a spanner in the works they've just re-laid the first 330ft so this means one of two things, either traction is going to be outstanding or I'm going to leave caterpillar tracks from the start instead of 30ft out.

At least 8 hrs gives us enough time to know if we even need to go to the track and reclaim the record!

You need a diesel rear bumper trim piece on that Kal then you can cut the exhaust bits where you like.

The secret tuning Fireballed package has landed at East Midland airport

I just pray that Helix clutches say that they can get the clutch done by Friday when I ring the boss tomorrow morning.

Otherwise it looks like the stock clutch and flywheel will be going in

The package is stuck in Bury St Edmonds because of snow

Isellem has obviously being doing a snow dance knowing that our country has anything over 1 inches of snow and it comes to a grinding halt

LOL!

I was just watching a rerun of top gear where clarkson makes fun of how the UK shuts down when there is only an inch of snow but they pretend that it is like antartica!

I can't believe how much snow New York has had is that for real 75 inches

Oh I wish that was true, decided last night that it was defintley going to be a rain out so didn't have anything ready to go racing, wake up at 06.00 its raining weather report says its raining all day, by 10.00 there's blue sky.

So go to work pick up the car and go to the Pod when I arrive at about 12.00 they've finished drying the track and are glueing the track, as I said before the track is virgin for the first 330ft and they've only got one lane open. there's only 20 cars there due to the weather forecast.

Managed to get 12 runs in between 12.16pm and 16.42pm, we were 3mph down to begin with and about a secound off the pace, this of course is the problem with changing 4 things at once in the quest to go faster and then not knowing whcich one to blame for the lack of power lol.

The elevation had moved fron the other last months 434ft to 998ft and wind speed was between 7-12mph temp had gone up from 2 deg to 10 deg

In the end our best on slicks was;

60ft 1.9728
330ft 5.6019
1/8 8.7039
mph 80.09
1000 11.3009
1/4 13.6498
mph 99.12

So no need to worry Isellem you can start putting all that weight back in.

Need to start re-evaluating what we've done, it might be that last meeting was going to be the best ever with the stock head.

That was the best mph, its funny with teh nitrous I could run it 3 times on the trot i.e just go round and round and it would be really consistant, but these pully cars heatsoak like mad.

Unfortunatley my laptop is still at the repairers so I've no datalog info at the moment, I'm hoping it'll be back this week.
