Im sure there is a post somewhere but I figured I bring one up again. When I drive my mini people laugh at me. But when I bust their @$$ or hang with them, they are not laughing anymore. I'm sure it goes no where since nobody wants to admit they got bet by a mini cooper.

So last week I was washing my car and my friend who stays an hour away came rolling up and ask me whats up. He drives a 92 honda prelude. H22/honda data tuned with all bolt-ons...makes 175whp.

I told him its a shame you drove all the way over here to get his @$$ whipped.

I drive a mini cooper s, AP II 92 tune, alta fmic, alta hotside piping, kn intake, alta dv, ELM down pipe, 2.5 exhaust. (20psi)

Results
30 mph roll bet him by two lengths
40 mph roll won by 2.5 lentghs
20 mph roll gave him a length and the bump and still bet him by 3 lengths to 120 mph

Results would have been better but I had boost issues. My boost was wishy washy. Could not brake boost and the boost issue created some turbo lag.

Called alta and come to find out the resister that goes into the factory dv harness was loose and losing contact which through the car in limp mode ever so often. I fixed it and now the boost comes on immediately

 

terrible whipping.. ouch!
