Before I go run I will be getting the AP and running a stage 3 tune. With the 225/45/17 hoosier slicks I have i am wondering if 13s are possible in the 1/4 mile?

 

I ran a 13.9 with just an intake/tune on street tires. Looks like you need a tune and ur gonna be maxed out HP wise unless you go with a bigger turbo but good luck with that.

The mini sucks at drag racing, horrible traction on the launch and not really much top end = alot of money for a high 13 sec car.

 

When I saw the thread title I thought you were asking if you run 13 inch wheels on yoiur car

 

You should stiffen up the suspension so you can apply traction on the front wheels while accelerating.

Also except for the turbo back the other stuff you currently have does not really add to much HP.

I have never dragged since I got tuned. I will say that I have pulled on and kept up with 13 second cars such as mkv GTIs and mk6 GTis.
