Car washing for the recently-converted OC

For those who followed my amusing conversion to the dark side (see this thread)
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=91153

I have just placed my second order with Heather and Nick at Detailers Paradise.

By taking advantage of the Gallon sale AND the NAM Calendar discount, (rather than buying everything in 8oz bottles @ full price) I SAVED $245. Not spent...SAVED.

Wow! My wife is gonna hunt down everyone of you bubbas and babes who did this to me!

Well simple math would tell you that with the 10% off gallon sale and the 15% NAM calendar discount, ol'mister Sin spent at least $980. A respectable amount considering that is about 3.5% of what I bought my MINI for from the dealer.
Yes, Sin's wife will make the papers for her spectacular killing spree. HIDE!

Actually, if you look at what the gallon jugs cost compared to 8 bottles, add another 25% to that, each gallon averaged about 50% off. I bought a gallon jug of five products (Nero, Clarity, Mystique, Hydro, and Slick), stocked up on some more waffle weave, bought some monster fluffies and some Platinum MF (I have three cars to support), and bought some clay...turns out I got all at at about 40% off total.

But yes, keep all guns and sharp objects away...if the AMVIV Valley of Fire run is missing a run leader Saturday, you'll know why

You justify your spending like I do! You don't just consider the bottom line discount, you consider every discount possibility!

On the flip side, it was actually a little painful for me to read the discount amount! Ouch for us! In the long run, I'm not worried though, even in gallon sizes it's like crack. I know you'll come back for more at some point.

Now to reeeeally stretch things and take advantage of your discounts, be sure to use Mystique and Hydro, in particular, in moderation. Both of these are very concentrated and you can stretch them much further by making sure you don't use more than you need. Plus, you can use this information as additional ammo when your explaining the credit card bill.

Oh, and also don't forget when explaining... the microfiber will last you years and years (unless you lose them or something!).

Thanks for the big order Sin MINI!!!!

-Heather

My wife sells Avon, primarily so we can get discounts on our personal purchases. With Avon, the more you buy on any given order, the bigger the discount. So, when she has a particularly good campaign sales-wise, and the corresponding bigger discount, she stocks up on stuff for us. I swear, we have about three years worth of shampoo under my sink! That was how I justified my order...shampoo for the car!
