That's actually very strange... Black Renew's "blackness" is extremely durable and should've lasted several weeks or even months, depending on exposure. I've never seen (or heard of) it lasting only a week.

Sometimes dressing/protectant durability is affected by what's already on the trim. However, Black Renew's cleansers should've cleaned off anything that would impede the bond. What was on the trim prior to Black Renew? Anything? I'm trying to figure out what may have gone wrong...

Thanks in advance for the info!

I dunno if that's the problem or not but my Mini is not garaged & used as a daily driver.

The only thing I have ever ever put on my exterior trim is 303 Protectant. I must confess that I had not even put any 303 on my trim for almost 2 months prior to trying the Wizard's When I applied the Wizard's I really enjoyed the smell. I rubbed it in really well & my trim looked so amazing (like jetjetjet black) after applying it that I even made my boss go check to out Monday morning (he hates it when I do that ). After about a week the newfound-blackness was almost all gone & by week 2 my trim looked the same as before I applied it. Now keep in mind that my trim did not look faded or bad at all to start with so my expectations may have been too high in expecting that one full shade of new blackness to last

I don't know if you are talking to me or not but I didn't say there was nothing on there. I just said that the increased level of blackness that I gained was gone. I may still have protection but the "look" is gone.

heather about my alcohol swipe test to determine what i define "gone"

Hmmm... that's still really strange to me. We've tested Black Renew on a number of various cars and scenarios, including my own (well, really my dog's) Volvo beater wagon which sits outside all day long in a parking lot exposed to intense Denver sun and, this winter at least, lots of mag chloride and road grime when it's being driven around. BR's full darkness/blackness lasted for a full month and it remained there for another couple of months at around 60-80%.

I wonder if you could try it again and then let me know? Or, maybe you need a new bottle?

I reapplied last Sunday & after 2 days it still looks good. I will let you know how long it lasts. I used it sparingly but the bottle told me to do that

just get some old sheet. cut them to size per tire and you should be good.

i got a old Queen size sheet. cut it in four and i'm set for the tires. no taping required b/c the extra material just weighs in down.

Or you could always use your packing lists from all your Hyrdro orders
