Ok, I spent a lot of time hashing this out. Let's find out how popular it will be.

Haha, he's one of my best students! No fear and always ready to help! Unfortunately he won't be at AMVIV. His patience level is still too short for a 2 hour class. He will have to build up to it. . But his presence is good! He makes everyone smile.

Thanks WannaMini_,

So amazing that I only got one PM, and he had already PMd me earlier about working on his car.

Class Schedule Change for AMVIV

Ok, due to the underwhelming response to my class offering of 0 responses or inquiries, I will be modifying the offering to:

1 Hr class @ $30/person (no store credit)

There will be no morning or afternoon schedules. A schedule will be posted at AMVIV--sessions will be likely every hour on the hour.

I can lose $30 in a few minutes at the quarter slots, LOL

If that sounds more appealing or not, please reply to this thread before I make the change in my store.

In case you're wondering why I have to charge a fee? Well let's see, my booth cost $$, the tables and chairs cost $$, the assistants I'm hiring cost me $$, the remote credit card processing machine costs $$, and I have to buy a bunch of detailing product inventory to bring to AMVIV in hopes that I can sell it, and it's not like I'm flowing in cash.

So do me a favor, to all of you that said you were interested in signing up for a class with me, if you're truly interested but the price is the limiting factor or there is some other reason, then let me know ASAP of your interest, otherwise I will make other arrangements for my time at AMVIV.

Thanks!

Richard

I'll be there! Time to complete my transition from the Non-OC to totally corrupted!

PS the OG "sauce" is holding up pretty well so far.

Haha thanks! Well, looks like it's just going to be YOU and ME! Oh and my assistant. LOL. We'll have a blast for sure.

Glad the "sauce" is still holding up!

I'm going to posting up a poll with the names in the next day or so....

The only thing holding me back is that I don't have any idea just what I'll be doing when. I was hoping to be able to slip into a class once there and I get it figured out. $30 is fine with me; heck, I woulda paid $50 and used the credit for your PC guard or maybe the new sauce.

There's gotta be more takers!!

That's exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for. If it's only a timing issue, we can deal with that. Maybe one hour slots will be more flexible than two. I dunno, doesn't really matter to me.

Thanks!

OctaneGuy... I'd really like to come to a class, but I'm going to be selling t-shirts as a vendor, so I'm going to be in a booth Friday and Saturday. I will have a friend there on Saturday helping me, so I might be able to step away from the booth for a bit. or, if I sell out of t-shirts!

i'm not sure i understand from your post... what day/time will the sessions be?

also, you would know better since I haven't been to one of these events, but I bet you will have walk-up business, no?

Yeah the way things are going now, I think I will just do a class as people come up. I will be doing them Friday and Saturday, probably every hour on the hour while there is day light.

In between those times I will be working on a MINI. At this point I think I'm booked for doing anymore detailing.

I hope you sell out of t-shirts!

I will be selling Prima products--and representing them since Heather isn't likely to make it--- for people to buy, as well as having some of my other new products for sale. So yep, I think I'm giving up on the idea of trying to schedule classes ahead of time and will just take my chances.

Richard, if you need a dirty car to show people on, my car will be there. And my classic too!

Haha cool Andrew. But I think Reggie (AMVIV mobile detailer) will need to clean the car first! Let them wash it, then bring it to me for the REAL detailing work.

Well, the Sin City club is holding a "Donuts & Detailing" event on Sunday morning, so it will be clean, just not up to your standards.

i may need some Hydro!

i'm trying to figure out how I will clean my microfiber while I'm away. I usually put them right in the wash after a detail and use liquid soap without any scent or additives. but not sure where I can do that while i'm traveling. any thoughts?

If you don't mind air drying your Microfibers, I can bring my Wonder Washer to AMVIV. Of course that won't help for the rest of the trip.

re: Hydro
I will have it! Although Hydro is in limited supply at DP--thanks to all the Hydro Hogs here on NAM I reckon!

Wait, it's not like my standards are unreasonably high for a MINI owner!

Sounds like your event should be fun! I plan to head back early Sunday so no worries about me critiquing anyones style.

well, that would be cool, but only if you've got the room!
