Do I simply dust it with a cloth? What if I get something on it? I guess in short, is there anything special I need to know in caring for the alloy panels?

Yes, dust it. Use soft cloth or feather duster. You can apply low gloss armor all if you need to clean human oil, soda, and other dirt from it. Or, if you don't like armor all, then use a damp soapy sponge. Other than that, no special care is required.

 

I just dust it regularly, and use water on a microfiber to wipe it down now and then.
