In case it hasn't been mentioned around here, http://www.carcareonline.com/howto.aspx is a great set of articles by an established company that tries out the products it sells. It offers advice on procedures as well as specific products for different situations (e.g. best long-lasting wax for daily driver vs. short-lived high-gloss shine for show car), "glaze" vs. "polish," etc. Many of the questions I see posted here are addressed, and it's nice to see honest, informed unbiased recommendations from someone who carries a number of different product lines. I thought this might complement the tips given by ryephile. :smile:

The by far best detailing source in my book is the Autopia.org forums. A must for any detail nut.
