Yes, when I think about caring for my car I always think about STD - never can be too careful.
Haha, the names are great! But yes I got overwhelmed. Between trying to process orders and other business stuff, and then watching this thread get a little silly, and trying to weed out which names were serious and which were just being silly, it really became too much to manage.
Hopefully I'll be able to try to consolidate all the posts soon.

This is what I get for being away for the weekend I guess. After testing dozens of trim products and none of the dressings lasting for very long I'm certainly very intrigued by your claims. I'll probably snag some this summer and see how it performs. You know me...I don't believe it till I see it.
No way I'm reading through all this (I feel sorry for you!) but here are some suggestions:
TrimTreatment
TrimOctane
ShowTrim
Show Car Garage Ultimate Plastic Trim Dressing
TrimFood
TrimJuice

Octane Guy, since the entire subject of detailing and these forums appeal to "enthusiasts" why not name your products that - like "The Enthusiast's Choice: Plastic Protect and Renew Treatment" or something along those lines? It could sound very grand and professional perhaps. And if you name more then one product like that can I get some of each?
(Along with the list of ingredients

Great names everyone! Sorry for my absence. Been busy shipping orders. After testing the latest version through some light rains this past week, the samples I was going to send are not ready yet. In fact, it seems I took a step backwards with the lastest version. I'm going back to the lab next week to revise the formula before sending the samples out.
But let me just clarify. The product does not add shine to your plastic. It retains the same original matte finish as well as evening and darkening the faded plastic. In essence it restores the arch trim, the plastic trim between the glass and the roof, and trim edging on the front and rear bumpers back to factory look. Water just beads off. It's also great for the rubber seals of the windows and doors.
During application, if you get any of my "trim gel" on your glass or on the paint, I like to use Clarity on the glass or Slick to remove any residue off the paint.
My "Trim Gel" isn't for the interior plastics. While it doesn't contain any dyes, the product really was designed for the types of plastic on the exterior trim that take the most abuse from the weather. You should continue to use Nero for the interior surfaces.
I'll be in Vegas this weekend for a trade show (Sunday to Tues) so I will be offline--except via my Sidekick 3.

Sorry for the slight change in topic here but..... if anyone is in Sin City--aside from Sin MINI, I'll be in Las Vegas today and tomorrow-leaving Tues morning. I made a batch of the latest version of the gel---it's the best yet.
But I didn't have enough material to make samples---so, since I'll be up in Vegas, I'll meet up with anyone that cares and dress your trim just for meeting up with me. Call me on my cell at 310 985 0333 if you can meet--I'll be staying at the Stratosphere and should arrive around 3 or 4pm.
I will also bring up a few PC Guard kits with me if anyone wants one. Read about it here:
