Any dirty MINIs?
Has anyone else seen how many dirty Mini's are on the road. These must be the few that don't care about their cars. I see a purple Mini that is now brown with so much brake dust its sickening. Some dude has a BRG MCS that is filthy from top to bottom, front to back. Its not hard people. It takes $3 and 5 minutes at a car wash. Or, 15 minutes and a hose at home. And don't give me this too cold whatnot. I stood in 25 degree wind on Sunday at the car wash to wash my car because she was dirty. Then again, I like 'em dirty, but not my car. Yes it gets dirty quickly because of its shape, but so what. You really can tell who cares and who dosen't.
Its a car dude .... get over it. Maybe they got better things to do like live their lives than worry about a little road salt on the boot for a few weeks in the winter:impatient
And MANY MINI owners will never let their car see the inside of a car wash. I'd always let the MINI remain dirty when its freezing outside rather than go to a car wash and it dont hurt nothing.

The day someone shows up at my front door with a bucket of water, wax and towels as an intervention..... is the day the aparetment manager kicks them off the property for washing a car on the premesis!
How many MINIs exist in the US? Maybe 150,000. How many are active enthusiasts. A small fraction.
Its a car. Its going to be treated as a car ... an appliance to maybe get good gas mileage to many. I know that is hard to hear but thats life. Think outside the box and look at the holistic picture.
The same is probably true for Vettes, Vipers, MB, BMWs but your not looking at those cars

My MINI is frequently dirty, and it has NOTHING to do with how much I CARE about her. I care enough NOT to have ever risked running her through a car wash. 15 minutes with a hose???? Who, Superman????
i give a crap about what someone thinks of my car and if it's shiney or not. I'd rather work on mods so i can blast pass you on the road. Honestly if you drive fast enough people won't be able to tell whether the cars clean or not, they just know it's quick. It's all about where your priorities lie my friend. Really, if i had the choice between having someone saying "you must have washed that" or "damn that's fast, what's under there?" i would choose the latter. sorry for the foul language i used earlier

Oh, how I miss having the winter beater....
Although I am having fun driving mine in the winter...I also hate subjecting it to such.
10 more days untill we move to Asheville NC.
