Epic on 1967 Morris Minor
Epic on 1967 Morris Minor
Ok so this isn't a MINI either, but it's British! This is a car I will be fully restoring in about a month, but I got a chance to do a test spot on it yesterday.

I clayed with Meguiar's professional blue clay, polished with M80 Speed Glaze with the PC and W8006 pad, and finished with W9006 pad and Epic.
Car doesn't look bad from a distance, but the color looked maroon and the paint was rough to the touch, so I wanted to see how that might change. After claying it became smooth as glass of course, but the color remained the same. After polishing, the gloss was restored and swirls and defects were removed. After Epic, you can see the dramatic results here on the right.

Stay tuned for the full writeup next month!

That is such a cool little car! Where can I get one??
It looks like a really fun project. I look forward to hearing your full process! Lots of unique pieces (like all the chrome, etc). Fun stuff.
