So we were at the High School Variety show tonight. When we were walking out I asked this girl I was sitting by the whole time, if I could get a ride to my car. I thinkk she was actually farther away than me, I just basically wanted her to see my car, because I know she loves 'em. Remember its pitch black and 2 street lamps are on, and we pull up and the light was glistening just right, and BAM! She commented on how nice the paint is. So then we go for a drive in my car, apon arrival, we go look over car, and she starts complaining about her car doesnt look as good as mine. I tell her I just have an artisan's touch. She asks me if I, and I quote: "Wanna like, come detail my car with me? Ill pay you" I jokingly said ONLY if I get paid, but Im comin over to her house to help her this weekend.

I had the exact same experience. Got the car all shiny but this "young" lady came over and said my wheels were dirty So I handed her a microfiber towel and the wheel cleaner and she got them shiny saying she always could do a better job on the wheels than me.

So I said ... "Hey, since your so good at cleaning wheels, how about we go get some dinner and then you can wax the roof?"

She said "I can eat, but I'm driving"

So she got her pile jacket, got in, and we went to like a local resteraunt ... and when we got back ... oh CRAP ...

I hate to rain on your parade, but for now you are just waxing her car. Now, if she invites you in for some home made lemonade than it's a date. On the other hand, if she gets you to maw her lawn (get your minds out of the gutter), than you are just working for free.

chows you are lucky. this week my wife crunched up 2 wheels on my
Legacy that was SPOTLESS before. it is fubar'ed..but still
holding air. im going to need to fix it next Spring. oh well, at least
it wasnt aftermarket wheels.

Actually, my little story is pretty much true.

She loves cleaning the wheels and windows. She does NOT like waxing the car but she does like Washing it.

So she will wash, I wax, she does the trim parts. It all works out. In fact, she washes both cars at the same time. Pretty cool.

Ya see ... for all those guys who say "It's MY car" ... if you make it "our" car ... life is so much easier

 

oh no. if she thought she partially owned it the car would
be pwned... i mean, she uses cars like tools...like a screw
driver or something. oh, scratch? oh well...kinda..and moves on.
