Tip: Put a straw cowboy hat on, get a moustache, wear blue jeans, a jacket with no shirt on, get a tan, pretend to detail her car, drink from the hose. She will offer you lemonade from a pitcher inside. You'll hear '70's twang music soon.

That's the plot from about every porno made at least 10 years ago... Except the ones that had the 'repair man' plot...

Let me start by saying this is totally unfair, I detail my car and get hounded for being "****" If anything a clean car has gotten me out of dates.

Working for free? And I thought you were going to say married

I'm with ya. My wife gives me the lecture every time I clean the car (every weekend). If I asked her to do the wheels, I would be sleeping on the new 75lb dog bed I just bought. Congrats Flannel, ripping er off in the big SD!

I want to know how it went!

And I'm with you guys, I head outside to do a little detailing and my husband laughs. And not in like a "aw, isn't it cute how much she loves her car" kinda way...but more like in a "okay, don't disturb the psycho OCD freak" way...

I told him if he'd wash/dry his car I'd clay and wax it...but whatever. That was two weeks ago!

You shouldn't have said that, gone over anyway and "discover" she didn't have a heated garage, and suggest something else to do.

This whole thing is hardly about detailing. It seems the interest was there and detailing was just an icebreaker to get together.

Very true*shakes head in disappointment* nothing wrong with heating things up a little....

But also remember you've found a gem if she understands the importance of detailing.

Wait...didn't I recall you talking about getting rid of your MINI in some thread some time ago? If so, I bet you're glad you didn't. If not I should probably see a health care professional about my hallucinations. :impatient
