How long will Clay last

I want to order clay, but don't know if I should "stock-up".
How long can it sit on the shelf and still be good?

Air tight container and a little mist of water (some use QD) and it will stay moist for a long time - years. Not too much water though or you'll grow mold which can be fun and interesting, but not on your $13 clay.

time to time.

It's a matter of how much you drop it and waste it
I'm still on my original bar from 2 years ago, but I've only used it 4 times or so.
