Nxt -- How Many Coats ???
Nxt -- How Many Coats ???
Does anyone use multiple coats of NXT?
If yes, do you go right back or wait for the first application to cure? How long?
Is more protection with a 2nd coat or is there a deeper glossier shine?

2 coats max.
Best method of application is apply one coat. Once it dries using the Swipe Test, then wipe it off. Park car in garage. Come back 24 hours later, apply second coat. That's how you will get the best protection.
Many of us don't have that luxury, I certainly don't, so I apply first coat, wait around 30 minutes--work on another part of car, apply second coat.
Two coats are used to ensure even ness as Ken said. When applied by machine, you get a uniform thin layer that is very easy to wipe off while also removing light swirls at the same time.
Most important advice is make sure it's dry before wiping by Swipe Test. That is, swipe your clean index finger across dried area of wax. Should reveal clear, glossy paint underneath. If instead it looks oily or smeary, it's not dry and you need to wait longer. Length of time depends on environment/humidity. Could be 20 minutes, or could be 2 or 3 hours to dry!
Use the Swipe Test to be sure.
