I use the Zaino car wash (Z-7) and think it works well .
I may have to switch to something more local since (thanks to Richard ) I am apparently not using enough soap - jeeze!
Oh and I did use Dawn when I first brought Matilda home to get all the yucky dealer wax off - worked too.

Haha I actually am going to. I just went out and bought some gold class car wash, not more dishwasher detergent . Now the question is ... does my old big car wash sponge do the job without leaving scratch marks or should I order the lambwool. My local Schuck's Auto Supply only has synthetic ones. For those Washington people, what local place around you has the lambwool ?

How I envy you! Griot's Garage has a walk-in store in Tacoma, WA.

Some of their products really are overpriced, but the quality of a few select items are quite impressive. They stand behind their products. I've been happy with their sheepskin wash mitt.

Yep, check out Griot's; I went with their micro-fiber wash mitts instead of the sheepskin ones; you can get two micro-fiber for cheaper than one sheepskin one, and I think they work great.

I use the wool mit for above the trim line and microfiber for the trim and below. The wool is nice because it won't hold grit or dirt so no worries about scratches using the two bucket method. Plus I think the lifespan of the wool mit is more than twice that of the microfiber.
