livin' in the country - dirt & gravel

So I'm awaiting the arrival of my baby in September and in the meantime am trying to cover all my bases for when she gets here. Something I'm concerned about is the fact that I live on a dirt and gravel road - some gravel, but mostly dirt from where the gravel has been smushed into the road. Can anybody offer any advice for keeping my MINI clean in such less-than-stellar conditions? I just want to avoid dings and dust and basically the myriad of evils that can come with being forced to drive on dirt and gravel roads.

Thanks!

I also live on a gravel road, and the dust and dirt are unavoidable. I just drive very slowly (which pisses off the folks who like to go 50 mph and slide sideways through the turn) and hope for the best. I do feel your pain.

Buy a duster and use it religiously, especially the rear of the vehicle, which you will find accumulates dust. If you are concerned about kicking up stones, you may want to consider the small mudflaps that are a manufacturer part for the rear of the front wheel wells.

Dust is so unavoidable
But as for the Dings, either get the magnetic stone guards or use the clear bra paint protection stuff in the areas that might get dinged up.
I've done the Magnetic stone guard already kind of wished that I had used the clear stuff on the back part of the side skirt right in front of the rear wheels, they are a bit messed up.
Cheers
