Are you getting this on the glass or just the paint?

Might want to try baby oil on a small part of the car, shouldn't hurt the paint.

I had the same problem with a dark blue Bronco years ago. I washed it, dried it, scrubed it down with baby oil and a soft cloth, washed it again, and then waxed it. Took all day, but I got it clean.

it's been pretty pieceful the last few days since storms went through the
area. i too think those were bug schisties. it was all over the car...
roof, sunroof, winshield, doors, bumpers, side mirros, you name it. nasty stuff.

i hope the bugs stay away.

Ken, did you see my post at the bottom of the first page of this thread? Diluted Simple Green is effective at removing all sorts of things. Yes, you will need to re-wax/polish, but I think you already realize that.

thanks, clo- yah, I did see that and was about to try it (Im a simplegreen
user myself) but havent' had the chance to use it yet since it has been
kinda pieceful. but i guess things tend to come out when it's
pieceful. i better check again tomorrow morning.
