Zaino Prep

I've used Zaino on other cars - but not my MINI.

Early 05 MCSC 5400 mile Garage Queen
I've been using either Klasse twins and 1Z Glanz Wax since new.
I'm planning on switching to Zaino - mainly for durability. I like the way the Glanz wax makes the Yellow pop...but it isn't very durable.
My question is regarding prep. I've done a dawn wash and clay bar.

I'm considering adding the step of Sonus Paintwork Cleanser...and this is the main question. Will Zaino bond properly to the surface - or should I add another wash step after Sonus? Or am I over thinking this...should I go straight to Zaino for my gloss and depth?

Thanks for any input
Peter

It won't hurt of course but you are overthinking. The dawn wash is all you needed, although that was the best time to clay bar as well. So you are ready to apply.

I always do a wash after the paintwork cleanser (final polish) but it's more to get all of the polish out of the nooks and cranies than to help bonding...
