I absolutely wax my matching color interior bits. They have no scratches, and when my top is down, they shine shine shine (the better to blind you with, my dear)!

yup...I waxed all the smooth shiny plastic dash and door panels. a year ago...because that plastic seems to scratch easily and my thinking is that if it is very slippery, then it will be less apt to get scratches.....seems reasonable to me....I used some left over Nu Finish....does anyone know if I can just put some Zaino Z2 over that now that some of the slickness has worn off?

I don't wax the plastic panels but I do occasionally wipe them down with the leather care cleaner/treatment when I treat the seats. A good wiping down with a damp cloth when washing the car is the norm for me. I do use quickdetail all the door edges and door sills.

interior panels

you know, the dash panels have been described negatively by some, but I saw a BMW Z8 roadster the other day, with the top down, and I would almost swear the dash panels looked just like the mini in anthracite - could have been aluminum or other metal for all I know, but I didn't want to lean in and touch it to see . . . at any rate, I'd been wondering the same thing - I'm gonna order the new piano black & certainly intend on putting some kind of protectant on it.

Tell her some chicks do it too!

The last time I detailed my car I waxed the door jambs, including the boot jamb and all the body colored panels inside the car
