You I don't know if I should thank you or call you all sorts of nasty names!I guess you just saved me some $20, but I blew over $100 on all of the detailing toys that I've wanted for a while and not had the motivation to buy... UNTIL NOW!
I thank you, my car thanks you, but my checking account thinks you are a dirty bastard.
My new bits of fun:
Several different grades of Sonus SFX 4" pads
The backing plate for above pads
Sonus drying towels (waffleweave microfibers)
Sonus Buffing towels (2 sided buffing and polishing microfibers)
A new wool wash mit
Other random lotions and potions

Yea, I just got a bunch more of these Blue Perls. They were out of stock for a long time. They are my favorite microfiber! Great deal!

Different texture, a little softer, or plush and better for quick detailing detailing and polishing off things like waxes that take very little effort. They do tend to lint more.
The polishing towels have a better "grab" and work better at removing residue for polishes like abrasive and swirl remover residues and waxes that leave residues that "stick" harder.
I have a quantity of both and use them for different purposes.

What to buy?
i am new to the self-detailing world. However, I am itching to give my new baby her first bath. I am curious - what are the essentials?
BTW...I love all the how-to's on the Autopia site! Thanks!
