1Z Gone @ Autopia

Ok, so it seems they are phasing it out...is this still the best stuff?

What is the difference between the 1Z Vinyl Cleaner and the 1Z Vinyl/Rubber Care that cleans and protects? If this is somewhat overrated, what is carried at the local auto stores that would suffice? Also for glass in the local auto sotre?

Also, is the Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner in the spray bottle ok for the leather? I have already purchased it but can return it if need be.

Thank You!!!

They just have a good balanced line with no "dogs". I like their stuff. The "Vinyl Cleaner" is a dedicated cleaner and is a particularly good one. One of the best, IMO. It is very different than their Vinyl Dressing that they claim does some cleaning, which I don't think it does very well. But it is a good "dressing". Medium gloss sheen, good durability.

Many glass cleaners work ok. I dislike aerosols, personally. Avoid those with ammonia. Actually, the low cost Eagle One 20-20 is pretty good stuff and can be gotten locally. My favorite is Einszett, but that is getting hard to find as you know.

Meguiars leather care is pretty good stuff. No real reason to not use it.

I just discovered from the Miata.net forum that Detailer's Paradise still carries the 1Z line. Looks like pretty much everything is in stock. Guess I'll go spend some more money... .
