I just thought I would share one of my favorite tools. I got this Rapid Reel hose holder that has a cart but can be detached and hung on a wall or house as well. It's sold by Griots Garage but can be gotten many other places online much cheaper. My setup cost around $100. (I know, not cheap but worth it!)

In the summer I have the hose attached to the house but it will freeze in the winter so I then clamp it on the cart. I roll the hose out of the garage when needed and hook it up to the house. It's very stable and I can pull the hose anywhere I want- no tipping over.

It's all heavy metal, ball bearing construction and built to last. It comes in many colors, too. (I should have gotten red for the garage but green went better on the house. )

I love this thing. It's very handy when moving a big hose around especially during winter car washing.

 

That's really super, but $100 for a hose reel?

That's excessive, IMHO, but then, I'm not rich.

 

I thought so too, until I had already gone through two $30 plastic cheapy carts. :smile:

 

yeah generally when you purchase things of good quality in the end you save AND it looks much better

I mean you don't just purchase any ol' car wash for your MINI and any ol' drying towel or any ol' ...... you get my point..........
