Looking forward to the birth of my '03 MCS in March 03. To get ahead of the game, I'd like to download a pdf.file of the owners manual. Thoughts?

Once you have placed your order and have a production number you can log into the MINI Owner's Lounge Once inside, there are pdf owners manuals for both the Cooper and the Ccooper S.

I know someone has uploaded that for download outside the MINIUSA site, but I don't have the link (perhaps a helpful MCO'r will post it).

Is the owners lounge only for americans.. I tried to log on as a canadian with my coopers vin number but I could not get in

I don't think you can log on to the owners lounge if you are in Canada....pretty lame too IMO. You can download either the '02 Manual or the 'Un-official' Manual by following the handy links link in my sig.

Yup, your're outside the Pale. I talked with the MINI folks, and they are not able to add you to the US side. We "Canadians" are second-class citizens.

Guess I should get a maple leaf sticker for my MINI.
