Werkstat Review
Haven't seen much about the Werkstat line of products, so I figured I would give a brief review of my experience with them. I should preface this by saying that before my Mini, I had very little experience with actual detailing products. Sure I kept my cars clean and waxed, but it was usually a two step process, wash, wax. Since the Mini is a keeper, I wanted to do it right. First, I tried Zaino and found the results to be ok but the process to be difficult and expensive. Looking for an alternative, I found Werkstat.
Werkstat makes high quality appearance products according to their website: http://www.werkstat.com . I bought the Prime Strong which is a polish that can be used by hand (I do have a buffer but find it to be more trouble than it is worth), Jett which is a sealant, and Glos which is a detail spray. The all work very well and are easy to apply. No white residue on the trim or anywhere else. With a white/black car, everything shows. This stuff never let's me down. I am always amazed after I finish because it is so easy to forget how white my car actually is. I don't have enough experience with other products to compare, but I am very satisfied. And the best part, I bought all of this at the same time over 3 years ago. I polish and seal twice a year and still have half a bottle of each. I usually put a top coat of Collinite on afterwards for extra protection, but I am thinking of ordering the Carnuba Glos and give it a try. Anyway, the obligatory shiny car pics are attached. If you are looking for something like this and like affordable and high quality, give Werkstat a try.
