Eagle One Wax as U Dry-SMEARS!
I know people have raved about this, but when I used it, it left a film and streaks. What did I do wrong"
I washed the car with Eagle One car wash
rinsed and did NOT dry
Sprayed on the Wax as You Dryand get pissed spray
It isn't greeeeeeezy, but it's streaky looking.

tomgirl, I'm just curious, what color is your car? The only person here (and I don't think he's around much any more) that I remember raving about it had a yellow car; maybe the streaks didn't show up as much? Do you have a dark color paint?
Also, did you try buffing the streaks out with a clean cotton cloth?

I have noticed that all of the 'spray/dry' waxes will leave smear marks. I realized after many, many different washings that the less spray/dry wax I use the less it smears. In other words I think we use too much when its applied. For instance on the side panels of your Mini just use three but no more than four very, very light spritzes. On the hood just use three and two or three maximum on the rear lid.
