Cleaning roof trim

I am looking for suggestions on how to clean the black trim along the roof line that the windows butt against. A couple weeks ago when waxing, I got some wax on trim around the car. I used peanut butter to remove the wax. It worked great for the plastic trim on the bottom of the car. However, the trim above the windows didn't seem to like it as much. Now its full of peanut butter residue...

Does anyone have a good way to clean that piece of trim? Thanks!

1. Get the peanut butter out of that crack !

2. Apply some Pre-wow and then follow it up with Black Wow. You can get that from Richard (OctaneGuy here on NAM). His website is http://www.showcardetailing.com/

Isn't there an elephant joke in there somewhere?

CR(& etc.) is spot on at paragraph #2. You will want that stuff for all the other fiddly black bits too.

I received Pre and Black Wow the other day. I have a before and after pic attached. This is after 2 applications of Pre Wow. There is still some peanut butter and/or wax residue left on the trim, but not much. One more scrubbing of Pre and then applying the Black Wow should take care of it and make it look better than new. All in all, I'm impressed with it.

Why oh why did MINI put a rough sandpaper trim up there on the new MINIs (I don't remember my old R53 being that rough?!) I'm not looking forward to keeping that top trim clean and black!
