Clear Bra Installer in NY or MA?

Can anybody recommend someone who has experience installing a clear bra on a MINI in the capital district of New York or western Massachusetts? I've contacted my MINI dealer, and the guy who used to do them won't anymore. "Too many curves", he says...Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

There's got to be someone in the Albany area.
Have you checked any of the autobody shops around? Maybe Dr. Vinyl in Pittsfield?
Maybe check with Haddad or Flynn BMW, they might know of someone.
Did you buy from Keeler?

Thanks. I'll give Dr. Vinyl a call, even though they don't list this service on their website. Other auto body places seem interested until I mention the words 'MINI Cooper'. I bought my first MINI from Keeler, but not the one that I'm getting the clear film installed on.

Well, Dr. Vinyl gave a no go, and the guy he recommended, Precision Auto Body in Sheffield also was a negative. The quest continues...

I guess that's the price we pay for living in the sticks!
I sent an email to a place in Cohoes. It's the only one I could find on Google.
You might have to make an overnight trip to NJ to go see Phil at DD.
I'll let you know if I hear anything.
Good luck

I just tried searching in the other direction.
Found these guys in E. Longmeadow on a corvette forum

A little closer than Albany and they have a MINI in their photo album

Edit #2
I found more places in the Worc/Boston area if this place doesn't work out. Let me know.

Thanks, Psquared. I was referred to the same place in East Longmeadow by a guy who works at the body shop at Flynn's BMW in Pittsfield. They seemed knowledgeable over the phone, and I set up the install for this morning. They drove out to Pittsfield for an extra $50. They did a great job on the hood and mirrors, and did some extra for me along the side panels of the aero kit where stones fly up just in front of the rear wheels. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a quality job.

During the course of this search, I was in touch with Keeler, the MINI dealer in NY a couple of times. After a false start setting me up with an appointment, the service manager then did a 180, stating that it was now illegal to apply this stuff in NY. Sounds bogus to me, but I wouldn't be surprised. It is New York, after all!

Thanks again for the help!

Things ARE a little different once you cross the state line!

Glad that you found someone, even better that they came right to your house and did it.
I might contact them and see if they'll send me a little piece. I'd like to do the top of my rear bumper. The dog put a couple scratches in it jumping in the back. I'd like to do something to protect it, since the dog isn't going anywhere and not going to get any smarter!

I have some extra material. Just PM me and I can donate it to the cause. The rear bumper should be a pretty straightforward install. And, by the way, they came to Flynn's BMW in Pittsfield, not my house. Still very convenient!
