Door Crease

Some jerkface bashed their door into mine today is it a candidate for PDR?
Paint seems damaged to me, so I assume no?

Thanks

A detailer should be able to get 90% of those scratches out, or better. The crease looks like a typical PDR job. If I'm missing something, and the paint is cracked, that's a different story.

Yep, from what I can see here, I would agree with Blackbomber. The correction level might be even higher than 90% if those white marks are just paint transfer. Take some clay bar to the scratches and see if they come out. A body shop would wipe it with some paint thinner or media reducer which is faster than clay but more harsh. Once you've determined if the scratches are just paint transfer and doesn't require any hardcore polishing, a good PDR tech should be able to take that crease out.

Thanks, I'll get a clay bar to it and see. I think the lower crease is scratched deep, it feels like it to me, and the upper crease is chipped.

If it did need some hardcore polishing, does that have to be done before the pdr tech can pull it out? I assume it has to be pulled out, can you get behind it that far forward on the door?
