Removing unwanted Decals-Stikcers?

I've looked up this question online before but the only proper solution I found is to use the hairdryer to heat the decal up and slowly peel it off.
Since I don't have enough long cables for the hairdryer to work in my school garage, is there any other ways to make it work?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I've removed parking sticker decals from windows using GooBGone and a knife. Not sure if I would try that liquid stuff on paint mind you. A rental store might have a cordless heat gun I guess.

PS: not suggesting you steal but... Some places have parking spots with powered outlets for engine block heaters... or just ask a friend perhaps someone with a house and exterior outlets.

Really depends on how old the sticker is. If it is not to old just remove it by taking it off slow and then clean the sticky off with WD-40 or Goof-off if it takes more.
The older the sticker the more work it will take. Heat will help but if you can't get a hair dryer or heat gun try just leaving your car in the sun for a while. The sun method may be harder in Mass than Az but it is worth a try.

I have the same issue with wanting to remove my bonnet stripes. They have been on the car for 4 years and it's a pain to get them off. The vinyl integrity at this point is very poor. Any time I get a large enough section to peel away breaks instantly. After 1 hour I was able to remove ~ 4" of vinyl.

I have read about numerous products to remove graphics, I calle advanced auto parts and I'm going to try a product from turtle wax that is clearcot and paint safe...I'll let you know how it works.

If you need an outlet in close proximity you can come out to my place in Webster and give it a try.

Well after 3-4 hours of manually attempting to remove the bonnet stripes and only removing 8" on one side I ended up bringing my car to a local body shop and for $50 bucks did an awesome job removing both my bonnet stripes. Well worth the cost.
