Question for OctaneGuy
Hey Richard,
I was just reading on another thread about using Banana Gloss. You said not to use it on the clearbra since it is a carnuba and will yellow. I am getting the clearbra put on my new Horizon Blue when it arrives (gravel roads around here) and wondered what you recommend. Do I BG the rest of the car and use something else on the clearbra portion of the car?
I just bought the PC from you and have the DVD so will be watching that before my first detail on "Mozart", but want to make sure I have all the products I need on hand when I'm ready to go.
Thanks for all you do here!
Annette

Hi Annette,
You really don't need to wax the clearbra but if you want to, stick with a synthetic like Hydro or Epic for a couple of reasons.
1.) With Hydro you don't have to worry about buildup along the edges.
2.) Both Hydro and Epic will help with the shine/gloss since clearbra has that orangepeel textured look, a bit more shine is helpful.
I'm here and available if and when you have questions about using the PC. I've been saying this for years, but I think I finally have the right test subject and environment to do a bunch of videos on using the Prima products. I've started and stopped and posted a few on YouTube but its far from complete. With my new shopping site supporting YouTube video clips, I plan to post short clips on all of my products like the most recent Black Wow video on the Countryman.

Cool, thanks! I just found your vid on removing the gas cap, too. So thanks since one of my first exterior mods is blacking out gas cap and light rings! Any chance you have a video for removing the front and/or rear light rings? I've heard they're a bit fiddly.

Great! You're welcome! Btw if you Plastidip them, BW can be used to maintain them!
re: Rear light rings
Sorry I only have videos on my own cars, lol. My Clubbie doesn't have those.
