Touch Up Paint

There are a few dings on the bonnet and front fender of my R53 from rocks and other road debris. I've tried to find a good brand of touch up paint but the only colors I came across were red and black...

Any suggestions for a good brand?

I need Hyper Blue Metallic paint.

Based on good feed-back on this forum, I just ordered Dr. ColorChip online. You can pop in your year and model and see if they have hyper blue. They had mine, DS, dark silver.

I've got "road rash" on my front bumper and right above from 3 years of debris and sand here in AZ. I'm looking forward to fixing it. I will post before and after photos when I complete the process, for sure.

I will check that brand out too! Please post pictures, I would love to hear your feedback. I still have a few weeks before I do mine since it is still a bit too cold in NJ. Need to do the touch up paint before I give him a good waxing.

Hi, John! You know, when you said "him," it got me thinking about whether I actually think of my car as a him or a her. I think my car is unisex.

Perhaps I'll start a new thread......hmmmm.

I have heard mixed things about Dr. ColorChip, so I am curious as to your results. If you start a new thread, send me a message.

In regards to the "gender" of the car...it really depends on the car. Some are guys, some are girls, and some are unisex! The driver will know after driving the car for some time which it is . Especially if you care for it as if it is a child.

Hi, John,
I started a new thread over on the general forum about do you think of your MINI as a him, her, or...? It's already starting to go a little too sexual. Good grief. Go through in your civil two cents!
