Bumper Paint Rub Removal - Product Recommendations?

Hello everyone,

This past weekend I parallel parked downtown and someone parked super close in front of me and later I noticed a horizontal line of black paint rub-off (their car was black) on my front bumper. Apparently they backed into me when trying to park. It's not super-bad, but enough for me to notice it easily.

Normally I would use a rubbing/polishing compound paste on this sort of thing, but I'm interested in hearing your product recommendations for fixing this sort of problem. I really like the Meguiar's brand of products but I'm unsure if they make a good product for this sort of thing or if there is something even better I should be looking for.

Thanks for your help!

I would try some clay first. I bet that will take it off. It might not seem to be doing a whole lot at first but keep at it and you will start to see progress.

+1, it will take a lot of passes and elbow grease but clay should get it out.

I'd try some WD-40 on a rag first

you might get lucky and discover it comes off very easily with a solvent and you won't need abrasives
