waxing vinyl stripes

I am going to wax my Mini tonight and was wondering if I can wax my vinyl stripes or just try and wax around them.

dont know if this is true, but have been told to NOT wax vinyl stripes.

you can wax them, i have because i dont have the patience to go around them very very carefully, but aerospace 303 seems to be the appropriate way to go for any vinyl decals.

You can wax vinyl no problem. You don't want to use a buffer on it though, you can abrade through the vinyl and ruin it.

If you really want to go crazy, 3M makes a polish specifically for vinyl that makes it shine like car paint.
