Detailing noob needs advice
Detailing noob needs advice
I haven't been taking as good of care of the paint on my 03 MCS as I should have, and now I'm trying to make some repairs. The bonnet clearcoat is fairly pitted from your everyday abuse, and was wondering what the process would be to remove/minimize these marks, and then protect.
Also, any good products for removing the slight haze that is forming on my headlight lenses?

if it's pitted the only way would be to touch it up.
minimaybee has good experience with Langka and NeverDull products... he might want to chime in.
(less the diagrams please
)
haze on plastic can be removed with PlasticX or any mild polish for paint.
use a foam pad (not cotton).

Thanks for the advice so far. The paint isn't chipped. It's the clearcoat that has the damage. I didn't know if this is something that could potentially be buffed out, or if there was a wax or polymer that could fill the voids and make it less noticable.
