Rusty water drip
Rusty water drip
So i've got a garaged parking spot at my condo place. Before I got my MINI I noticed that once and a while there would be a rusty water mark on top of my Jeep comming from some leaky pipe. When I got the MINI I took some time to find where the pipe leak was and try to seal it up. Well this morning I found a little drip on my roof.
So the question is, how do I remove this drip mark? I patted it dry with some microfiber and tried a little slick to see if that would help, but no luck. I never could seem to remove the drips on my Jeep with just soap and water, and I really don't want to ruin the finish on my MINI.
I had just applied Epic last week, so I should have a good layer of protection. Is this a job for claybar, or will something else work? How do I strip the Epic to see if that process will remove the rusty drip?

rubbing compound is typically coarse. you want to go over it again
with something like ScratchX using a foam pad. it should remove the
hazing.
btw, get that rusty pipe fixed. talk to the landlord. it could be
sewerage and very corrosive/health risk.
