Have any of you used this the nanotechnology product to protect your car's paint and for a lifetime of "no waxing"?

A shop near me (Seattle) does this and is quoting about $1000, ouch, but guarantees that if something gets on the paint they will repair it.

Is this snake oil or does it really work and would it be worth that price?
