I have 42, and until this past weekend, I hadn't bought anything since I think early fall.

I did the math, that's frightening...

I think I've only got 8, but I'm just a neophyte.

I refuse to do the math.

Does anyone know what this is? I searched the DP site but couldn't find any info about it. A search in this forum didn't come up with anything either.

Do we get free Hydro if we accumulate x number of points? Free Starfish mitts? A free puppy??
My apologies for the confusion! We've been trying to get our very slow and stubborn developer to remove that feature since we upgraded our site almost 2 years ago. He has yet to remove it. The feature is part of the shopping cart base system that our site is built upon.

Detailers Paradise does not have a reward points system. In fact, the points that you may see in your online account are not even counted using anything very logical.

I apologize for the confusion but please ignore the point system if it appears in your account. (believe it or not, it does not show up in everyone's account even if they've ordered alot from us!)

I'm now off to contact our developer for the 100th (at least!) time to fix this. I'd kill him but then we'd never get it fixed for sure!

BTW, although from a customer service standpoint I would have loved to have seen this thread earlier (still trying to catch up on my work since Nick returned from being away!) at the same time doing so would probably have stopped the very funny posts that resulted!

I wish I could give out free puppies and Ferraris!

Thanks for keeping some humor on the topic until I saw this thread and posted.

It's about time, Heather !!

Meh... no reward point system. At least you give lots of good discounts so who needs points anyway ?

And I'm allergic to puppies so I'm better off this way.

If DP does start giving away puppies, just remember to keep them away from the Bow Wow, er Black Wow.

Shedding, no shedding, I'm allergic to them all. I could get one of those hairless cats, but I think it would scare the hell out of the ferrets.

And as you can tell, I don't know squat about dogs. They're better off without me trying to own them.

I'm glad everything finally got cleared up. Sucks that no puppies or Ferraris are being given away, but the good news is that my DP order is scheduled to arrive on Friday. Yay!

Oh and "ChiliPepJetPoo".. that's a good one.

I'm not sure if I am, or not. I volunteer for allergy testing.

You could just shorten it to 'ChiliPooJet'. I think that's got a better ring to it.

That would be under the Reward Pup System, not the Reward Point System.

The next person who abuses my NAM name is going to.... going to....

Well, make me laugh pretty hard.

After that, I'll think of something to get even. After all, what's wrong with 10 syllables in a name (if you pronounce the "and's") ??

Last I checked "W" was pronounced with three syllables (or two if you're from Texas). So I need 9 or 10 syllables to pronounce "SeeAreAndPeeDoubleYouAndJayBee"...

ChiliPepJet is sooooo much easier.

See my edit I was doing as you were replying... 10 syllables.
