Soft Water?
Soft Water?
I just had my soft water unit replaced and when I came out to check on how things were going, the installation man had added a hose bib so I can was 'Rita with soft water. Is there any reason "not" to use soft water, like it strips all the polish/wax off? I think it's a good thing, no water spots, etc., but thought I'd check with the specialist on this forum.
Thanks

Should make your soap, soapier and your clean, cleanier while making your spots far less spotier.
Water softeners replace Calcium and Magnesium ions with Sodium ions so you should see less water spots and your soap will be more efficient. Other than raising the Sodium content of your water this is all good.

Compared to the hard water, the soft water will make cleaning and drying quite a bit easier. Just make sure not to 'over-soften' the water, this will sometimes cause soapy residues.
