Greetings all..

I have a deep scratch in my bonnet that almost looks like I've been keyed but is more likely due to a careless bag (&#($@*#!!). It's not down to the metal but is definitely a ridge in the paint.

What would be your suggestions on how to buff this out?

Additionally I have a swirl from the day I picked up the car on the roof in black.. any ideas??

 

scratch-x on foam pad with ample elbow grease. sounds like it's a
deep scratch so see if you can get the scratch edge smoothed out
to kinda blend into the surrounding paint. then use wax to fill and
hide.

Got into a wreck this weekend...bonnet will need to be replaced anyways so I didn't have a chance to try this :(
