I order the bundle yesterday and received a shipment notification today! I can't wait to add these to my growing collection of DP microfiber. My wife loves the glass mf so I had to get another of these as she stole it for the household.

I don't even have my MINI ordered yet, but I gave into temptation and ordered this right before the price bump.

When it came today I was a little frightened at how small the package was, but it turned out all of my fears were unfounded.

I'm impressed how much microfiber goodness was crammed into such a small box. The complete opposite of the other box I got from Pelican Parts which could have comfortably housed an extended family of Chihuahuas and contained two hood struts for my E36 BMW and four trees worth of packing paper.

I don't know if I want to sully my virgin microfiber on my old car (which just got its first wash in a year last week) or save it for the MINI.

And verily shall the virgins be sullied.

My only question is: are the monster fluffy and the platium(? I forget what it's called. The grey one.) MF used for the same thing, or do they have different applications?

I use the platinum (gray) to remove polish since it has a shorter nap and can remove tougher products. The Monster Fluffy I use to remove Epic and QD the MINI. I also use the latter for removing dust on the inside painter parts and gages.

Technically, the Platinum and Monster Fluffy cloth are both "buffing" cloths and thus can be used for the same tasks.

Buffing cloths are typically thick, plush, cut (aka non-looped... look closely!) at least on one side and ideally, very dense (measured in threads per square inch). Buffing cloths are typically used for removing wax and polish, buffing off quick detail sprays, etc. They are usually dedicated for paintwork tasks.

That said, most people (myself included) actually use the Platinum and Monster Fluffy for slightly different buffing tasks- just as MiniMaybee described. For me, the Platinum is my go-to workhorse buffing cloth and my Monster Fluffy is my light-weight buffing cloth. I use Platinums more than Monsters.

Functionally though, they can be used interchangeably.

BTW, the Starfish buffing mitts are also in the same "buffing" cloth category as the Platinum and Monster Fluffy and can be used in the same way.

Got my "try me" bundle the other day and I must say, I was impressed. For the money it was easily the best I've come across, (should've got 2 ). Going to try and get my car all washed, clayed and waxed this week in time for the Car Show this weekend (British Car Day @ Patriot's Point) and see if I can't put some of these products to good use! If another deal like this comes about, you can bet I'll get 2!! Good stuff man! Keep up the good work!

My only regret is not adding a bottle of Hydro to my order.

That in fact was my exact order - the "try me" bundle and hydro! It has been raining here lately, so my MINI is in dire need of a cleaning.
