yep, get a full tank of gas.

then just pressure up the tires to 40psi and turn them every other
weekend a quarter of a turn so it does not flat spot.

i charge my battery at 2A every other weekend, but you have a
battery maintainer on there so should be good to go.

DONT fire up the motor unless you're going to drive it for at least
30min at high way speeds.

Thanks, I also read about putting the wheels on ply wood with chalks and taking the parking break off. Would that help!

i don't do anything with platforms, but getting tires off cold concrete
should help a little bit. i don't chock my wheels either cause i turn
them on occasion and so i just set the parking brake.

the mini kicks your boxters ***. Well, if it is an MCS.

also, I dont know if you do need this, but um, well, most people who are young buy crap gas. this isnt good for the mini, but well, here's the thing, I was reading about how Griot's garage has this stuff you add to fuel so it doesnt become gunk. some say all gasoline already has some of this, but crap gas, well i bet it doesnt, and who knows so why not? Its this red liquid that keeps your gas from gelling up.

how long will the car sit? you should really do a full winterizing/drain job if it is a few months, like long term storage for it. cars die that sit.

truthfully? this is what you should do for the car:
http://www.techguys.ca/howto/winter.html

That is just about everything possible. If you do all of this, it will be happier than driven once a week even!

there are other things you can do that FULLY store the car, but those are rediculous things for cars designed to be stored for over a year without movement.

i personally dont use stabil during the hiberation. a full tank of gas has
done well. these are modern cars we're talking about. it can sit
months with no issue (given that the battery is maintained periodically).
