Seeking input on Prima travel sizes

We're thinking about putting some of our Prima products in 4 oz travel size bottles (spray products only at this time).

So far, we're thinking Clarity, Slick, and possibly Hydro.

Any requests from NAMers??

As always, we'd love to have your input!

I already have this. Just with Sharpie instead of pretty labels...

OK, actually I carry the little 2oz bottles y'all sell, which are great. My only issue is that 2oz of QD or Clarity doesn't go very far...

I carry Hydro, Slick (two bottles), Clarity (two bottles), Nero, and Griot's Leathercare in my kit...

4oz sizes of Slick and Clarity would be cool...

Orrrrr......

4oz sizes with a QUART refill would be REALLY cool.... and profitable...

just more great free marketing/merchandising...

P.S. - you could do a whole little prepackaged mobile detail kit in a zip bag with 4oz bottles of Slick Clarity and Nero, plus a glass cloth, two standard microfibers and a Monster Fluffy... ka-ching.

Sounds great, Heather! Those would be my top 3 choices. A wheel cleaner would be nice, too.

BTW, Nourish is great stuff!

I think such a kit would be a great idea! Especially if you could make it only 2" thick, so it can fit in the glove box. Seriously, a travel bag with the goodies would be great!

Ah yes... that's exactly what we have in mind for the travel sizes!

We're kind of torn on the Nero... any more votes for Nero? How about Hydro? Those are the two that we're not sure about.

Clarity and Slick for sure.

We'll try to keep the packaging slim so it'll fit anywhere... but I think it will be a challenge to keep it under 2" due to the microfiber that would have to have a place in there too. We'll keep messing around with it though and see what we can come up with.

Thanks so far marketing department! (Thanks for the other ideas too, BC!)

I vote for Hydro. But, I use it much more than Nero.

I would vote for Slick, Clarity, Nero & Hydro. I carry all four in my detailing bag along with BW and Wizards Black Renew. Towels; I've got two waffle weaves, two Monster Fluffies, four crap Target utility microfibers and a DP glass cloth oh and a DP thin blue pad.
You know if you would just dehydrate the liquids they would take up far less room and then LynnEL could carry them in his glove box. You would need to vacuum pack the microfibers as well so they would take up less space.
Or if you would just invent a shrink ray I could carry the whole Prima line with me, all my towels and my PC too.

And this is your TRAVEL bag?? Think travel. Think small. Don't you own a MINI??

I'll work on the shrink ray. I can think of lots of good uses for one!

Now dehydration... that's a thought!

Well, you could expand the idea to a roof-top carrier. Then you could put in the wheel cleaner, too. And it could have a huge "Prima" logo on it!

Well I didn't even mention my bottle of 303 Aerospace Cleaner, wool mitt and jelly blade. All fits nicely (if not snuggly) in a tool bag I found at Sears. It's even red! I carry it in the boot and strap it in so it doesn't slide around during spirited cornering.
I would have a huge problem with a roof-top carrier!

I would be all over this. I already have my own mini bottles but "official" ones would be cool

I vote for Clarity, Slick, Hydro, and Nero. I currently carry Clarity, Slick, Hydro, a starfish mitt and a glass cloth (with a few shop paper towels) in a zip-up mesh bag that fits in the left side boot drop-down space

I'd say it depends on the cost, Heather. Ususally, small bottles means more $$$ per ounce. If that's the case, I'd just as soon find a couple of small bottles and make my own travel pack.

But if the price per ounce is in line with your normal pricing, then yes, I'd go for the convenience of having them pre-packaged and ready to hit the road, of course.

And my preference for products included:

1. Hydro
2. Hydro
3. Hydro
4. Clarity
5. Slick
6. Nero
7. Hydro

That's a good point and I agree. We're still analyzing what the pricing would have to be. The wee bottles and labels are not that much less than the big bottles and labels! The price of wee sprayer heads still has me shaking my head! (although they are VERY nice!) Still, we'll see if we can make the pricing palatable before putting these into production for sure.

Thanks for your votes too... so you like Hydro, eh??

It just seems odd to me that so many folks want Hydro "on the road"... I rarely do a full wash while traveling, but frequently QD and clean glass and dust the dash and interior trim...

I think the spray heads on small bottles are key. I'm using the 2oz bottles now, and they tend to "stream" more than "spray", so it takes too long to cover the applicable area...

Man, I can't believe I'm talking about streaming and spraying...

My picks would be,

Clarity
Slick
Nero

I will say though that the sprayers on the regular bottles are top notch, I've sort of been spoiled by them, so you could say the bar is being set pretty high for the "travel" bottles.

If the travel pack does come out then I'm gonna have to join the gallon club so I can keep all my bottles topped off, just incase.

Heather you are not helping the OCD I'm developing from spending time in this forum.

Let's see, something to clean the window and something to clean it with, something to clean off bird poop and something to clean it with, and something to put a little protection on where the bird poop was, and some thing to put it on with.

If it's not priced out of this world, I want a kit or two..

Not sure when I'd use Hydro or Nero travelling but like the idea. A lot of us are already doing it in different forms.

+1 on the 'kit'. Think the key would be the container that it came in to make it really useful.

i think it should ideally come in a package where it can
isolate itself from the severe temps.

(i think the price of the traveler pack went from $10 to $50 just now).

I don't know. The Monster fluffy would make good insulation I think Maybe the package could be nylon on the outside and reverse it inside out to monster fluffy material.
