I got my sampler platter on Friday & I gotta say a big ole thank you to DP!! They never use packing P-Nuts. I hate those things... they are bad for the environment & they get all over everything when you try to get your goodies out of the box. YAY for always using packing paper!!

I even had to use a few already (pre-washing, which I know isn't optimal) and they ROCK - the way they just become an extension of your hand and you can feel the car through them - but still very soft and plush...

I can't believe this isn't just what everyone sells/uses. They're so darn obvious once you use one...
Isn't it crazy? I know it's hard for anyone to "hear" me without my retailer/vendor hat on but please try... (sometimes I just want to be like the rest of you, ya know! )

BlimeyC- Your description is just how I found the Starfish once I tried them. It really is one of those things that you can't believe isn't everywhere! Truly... an extension of your hand. It's as if you've grown a plush microfiber from your arm- with nerves connected an' all.

Glad to hear you're enjoying them so much!

We're glad you appreciate that we don't use packing p-nuts! Every once in a great while we do... we receive so much stuff inbound with them so we try to reuse at least some of our umpteen bags full.

When we first opened DP.com, Nick made an executive policy decision of only using packing paper, regardless of cost! We've stuck to it ever since.

It's nice to know that customers like our policy! (btw, we prefer no p-nuts when we're packing too... they're awful to work with!)

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah I understand reusing ones you get. When I had my online business I never used them unless I was recycling them. I almost felt like if I threw them out they would just make more & hoped if I reused ones someone sent me I would be helping the planet at least a teeney bit

Don't they make biodegradable packing p'nuts now?
And I would drive up to Denver, I was actually planning on it today, but I slept in... until noon. haha.

and you missed Yalla Yalla too!
I think they do make some packing peanuts out of a starched based material that totally dissolves when exposed to water.
If you just drove to Denver and bought from DP, you could eliminate the need for packing material all together - that goes for all of you!

Sorry but the gas I would use to drive from Alabama would be worse than wasting a few sheets of paper

Haha, even driving up from Colorado Springs (hour and a half from my place to that area in Denver) is more expensive than shipping.
