Water De-Ionizer

I was looking for an alternative to the Mr Clean Autodry and came across this. I am sold on de-ionized rinsing but the Mr Clean rig is cheap. I'm on my third one. Are there other units like this?

Edit: It looks like the thing is from CR Spotless. They go up in price.

yah, OG has a real nice unit that has a LED showing PPM. without the
PPM meter you don't really know when the filter needs to be replaced.

does that unit in the Sam's pict have a PPM sensor? the 2nd link you
show does. (and comes with a whoppin' price for water. )

The CR Spotless DI system works great. I buy the resin crystals in bulk $195 for 6 refills or 600 gallons of water--works out to like 33cents per gallon. If you use it for only rinsing the MINI, it will last a long time.

You don't need the built in TDS meter. You can buy a hand held TDS meter for under $25 and spot check it every couple rinses. As long as the TDS is below 75 you are still getting good DI water.

I purchased mine on eBay. Here is a link to the exact unit I have from the same seller I purchaed mine from a year ago.

You can also find the in-line meters which are used on the CR Spotless system for around $35-$45. The manufactures of RO, DI, and RO/DI units put a huge premium on electronics which is what drives the prices of these DI units up so much.
