Oh well, if you're going to count waffle weaves....
I guess I have 7 types.
You know what I love, Ken ? Those Griot's utility towels. They call them "wipe down" towels. I use them on my wheels (I know you like paper towels), inner door sills, to apply BW on the plastic trim, etc. And as inexpensive as they are, you don't care if you throw them away after about ten uses.

A UNIQUE, DISPOSABLE, WASHABLE, RE-USEABLE, ULTRA-SOFT WIPE-DOWN TOWEL. THIS WILL BE YOUR NEW FAVORITE CAR CARE TOWEL...GUARANTEED.
There are times after a good car wash when you need to wipe down areas where grease, dirt and grime hide but don't want to contaminate and stain your chamois or a nice micro fiber towel.

towels from last year's purchase i chose not to get them this year.

Smells like a Wilson leather store. Not as overwhelming as the Zaino leather conditioner. Very pleasant smell (unless you are a cow, then it would be rather creepy).
On the topic of towels:
I use waffle weaves more than any other towel. I usually use one for the MINI (I use a Jelly Blade which helps) and two for the Expedition. BTW since you will be drying with a waffle weave, this will be the towel for Hydro as well.
I use Monster Fluffies for Slick and for dusting of the dash parts. Monster Fluffies don't make good drying towels so mine never see Hydro. I suppose if you were to QD with Hydro you would use a Monster Fluffy. I also use them for buffing the Amigo and Epic off. Both are easy to remove so you don't need any thing stiffer.
I do use the DP Platinum for removing Swirl since sometimes it needs some persuasion. I also use them for Nero on the inside plastic parts. I use an orange crap Target microfiber for my wheels and engine parts. Of course the DP Glass cloth with Clarity.

I generally use the Monster Fluffies either for quick-detailing, or for removing waxes/sealants that come off easily. I've used some waxes that don't come off so easily, and in those cases, I've found that the Monsters can be a little too soft to be effective, so I use the Platinums.
Waxes and polishes wash out, so don't worry about using your Monsters for that. If you were to get them *really* loaded up with wax (like using them to *apply* the wax), you might need to pre-soak them before washing or use one of the commercial microfiber cleaning soaps on them, but you're not going to hurt the Monsters by using them to remove Amigo/Epic.
- Wash the microfiber for one full wash cycle normally. Then wash again, except do not use any laundry detergent. Instead, add 1/2 Cup of white vinegar to the load (assuming a medium to full size load). Run the cycle normally.

Talk about a common woe of the biz owner... manufacturing promises that aren't kept!
We anticipated a short lapse between the initial shipment and the second shipment of the Monster MAX. However, our manufacturer kept changing the ship date of the second batch and pushing it out and out and out! The "short lapse" became a months. Finally, we received a set of what were to be the new color options for the MAX about a month or two ago. Yay! ...or so we thought. This set was half the plushness and weight of the original MAX.
We told them that we wouldn't sell something so lightweight and call it our MAX. So, now we're back to the ever-changing ship date from our manufacturer. We are working on it still though. I, unfortunately, have no idea when we'll have them back again. But we're working on it!

Thanks for the info, Heather ! Your customer service remains top-notch !!
My two MAX's are still in good shape so they should last me a long time. When you get some more, I'll have to order a lifetime's supply because I LOVE them for removing the leftover Swirl, Finish, Amigo, and even the Epic after the buffer job is done.
They're so big and thick that just one towel does the job for the entire vehicle without having to re-use the same portion of the towel.
Thanks again !!

I've got a MF and WW and glass cloth, but I use the heck out of Costco's yellow mf cloths. 24 for $8. They work just fine for leather, wheels, plastic trim, wiping off wax jobs, whatever. They're almost disposable at that price.
Hey, I thought you were coming to MITM - I even carried my jar of P21S Carnauba wax up there for ya.
Did you get to Boulder for school? Perhaps a bit too off topic for this thread no?

Ha. Yes I am in Boulder now. Heather, I am trying to figure out a way down to the store to check it out and get a bottle of Clartiy (I've used a full bottle cleaning kids laptop screens in the dorm...)
Who is this Kenchan character???
