Help with clearing off water marks!

Hey everyone. Please allow me to preface this with saying that I've really learned a lot reading this forum, but am still relatively uninformed about detailing.

My new MCS is on its way so now I'm looking to sell Buddy, my integra. I've been fixing him up and getting him in peak selling condition so he can find a new home, but one thing has me nervous. He has had to deal with street parking in front of an apartment complex that runs its sprinklers every night, and now has seemingly permanent water marks on the paint and on the windows!

I have waxed the car to no avail, and I suspect that the beads of water acted like magnifying glasses and allowed the sun to burn through the clear coat. Would a clay bar help remove these or am I pretty much screwed and need a new paint job? Is there anything beyond a massive paint job overhaul that will cure his condition? I can post pics later if it would help.

oh yah, for windows/winsheilds with caked on water spots (i mean
real bad ones), try RainX.

i use it more as an external glass cleaner/treatment for severely stained
glass than for its water beading technology. works great.

3M Swirl Mark Remover (available at any pro auto paint store). btw, they make two versions -- one is specifically formulated for darker colors.

Make sure you reapply wax/polymer afterwards.
